1.Welcome Seafood & Suang Tain Seafood
There are two seafood restaurants to visit in Kota Kinabalu. Welcome Seafood is so big, it is also very popular with its price and taste, and Suang Tain Seafood is although it is small in size but it also tastes good. I visited both places, and the butter shrimp gave Suang Tain Seafood a spicy flavor, and the taste that I could feel was neatly kept. Welcome Seafood the fried squid was 100 times better than Suang Tain Seafood , and the fried rice that could not be missed in Southeast Asia was delicious. The scallop dish was a little more delicious than the Suang Tain Seafood. I can not say which is better because there are individual differences in taste, but if I go again, I am likely to find Welcome Seafood.

2. Chilli Vanilla
It is a Hungarian restaurant that is always ranked at the top of the list at the Tripadvisor Kota Kinabalu restaurant. Although it is a small restaurant, it has good reputation for its service and price. In addition, the weekday lunch menu is so cheap that you can enjoy the main, beverage, and even dessert.
Expense for 1 person: approximately 10-50RM

3. Yee Fung Restaurant
The local Laksa restaurant is always crowded. Especially during lunch and dinner hours, it is a popular restaurant for both locals and tourists.
Laksa may have different preferences because of spices.
Laksa is, of course, possible if Tom Yum Goong can eat. I can’t eat Tom Yum Hong. But Laksa eats. Preference may vary because lime, coconut milk, etc. are included. However, I hope you will it a try.
Expense for 1 person: approximately 8-10RM

4. Fatty Kee Restaurant
The restaurant is filled with locals every day, so I visited the restaurant because I was curious about the place. Some of the recommended dishes are sweet soy sauce bass chicken wings, and sweet fork shower similar to Korean Tangsuyuk.
Expense for 1 person: approximately 15-20RM

5. Sin Kee Bah Kut Teh
I went to the Bah Kut Teh restaurant in Recommended Travel Guide book . If you really think about the Bah Kut Teh that you really in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, you should choose this place.
Expense for 1 person: approximately 15-20RM

6. Yuit Cheong
As a 120-year-old tradition, one can feel the Force from the beginning. Kaya Toast and SATE are recommended menus, and I visited the restaurant in the afternoon and had only SATE. It was a little less delicious than the first SATE on Bali Street. However, it was enough to captivate the taste buds of locals and tourists. Personally, I want to visit again and try Kaya Toast.

7. Borenos Fried Chicken
Why Franchise Chicken House? It was a surprise to be ranked high on the TripAdvisor list. I also visited because of good reputation, and my taxi driver recommended that I try the chicken rice set. The combination of salty fried chicken and curry-like yellow rice from a Franchise fried chicken restaurant worked so well. The sad part was that Coke was dull.
Expense for 1 person: approximately 10-20RM

8. Blue Ginger Cafe
This restaurant is a local restaurant recommended by a Korean- sister who lived in the area. If there is a Pad Thai in Thailand, Kota Kinabalu has a Fried Kway Show. The Fried Noodles of Blue Ginger were really delicious. If you visit Kota Kinabalu again, this is the place I want to go about twice more. I am so sorry to have been there once since it was closed on Sunday.
Expense for 1 person: approximately 7-10RM

9. Filipino Market
In the evening, it stimulates the nose with the smell of BBQ. Because it is with fruit markets, central markets, and seafood markets, choose and cook the seafood at an affordable price. So it is crowded with many tourists. But it is not sanitary. I bought two chicken wings here and it was really addictive.

10. Fook Yuen
Kaya Toast, located on the tourist street, is always crowded with locals and tourists. So far, the restaurant has the longest opening hours. Among the various menus, I only tasted Kaya Toast and coffee, but even if I visit again, I want to try it again. You can taste the delicious Kaya Toast with just 2 RM.
Expense for 1 person: approximately 2-5RM
